I’ve compiled this page of resources as a way to reference some of the services, tools, sites, and products I use that help me with my online projects and sites.

Whether you’re setting up your first blog or website, or you’re looking to enhance or expand what you currently have – I hope that this page might help point you in the right direction to find what you’re looking for.

WordPress – The most popular web publishing platform in the world. This free application is able to handle nearly any type of site, and has a massive community of supporters, developers, and designers. It is my exclusive choice when setting up a website or blog.

Elegant Themes – They offer some amazingly beautiful and versatile themes (designs) for WordPress. I am signed up through them and they have amazing support and a great community if you have any questions or need help.

Hosting & Domain Names

I have had nothing but good experiences with GoDaddy. I host all of my blogs, websites, and domain names with them. Their prices are some of the best you’ll find anywhere and I’ve found that their support has been excellent when I’ve had any problems, needed technical assistance, or had any questions.

Email Marketing

It’s one of the largest and most user-friendly email marketing services out there. They make it super easy (and affordable) to start building up your email marketing list and sending out newsletters or announcements to your subscribers.

One of the best books I’ve ever read on what makes people buy. It’s not full of abstract ideas or “fluff,” it provides tried and tested material that’s been studied and researched to help you sell more products (whether it’s online or offline).

Website Speed/Optimization

TinyPNG – Is a tool similar to, yet for PNG files. It optimizes and compresses your PNGs either through the online tool or via a PhotoShop plugin/extensions – and it’s completely free to use.

Links Information

OpenLinkProfiler – Is an amazing (and free) tool that provides you with an in-depth look at a site’s backlinks, anchor text, nofollow/follow links, and much more.
